Patpong – Gay Bangkok
Your guide to Bangkok’s new gay red light district in the sois of Patpong
While many long term visitors to Bangkok who have enjoyed the gay nightlife for many years are not happy with how things have changed, for new visitors there is much fun to be had. The bars are now spread out over 2 streets full of shops, lady bars and even ladyboy bars. It’s very different from the old Soi Twilight that was small, intimate and only gay.
While much of this information is very new, we are constantly updating throughout 2019 to keep these listing as accurate as possible.

Patpong 2 is a small alley that connects Silom Road to Surawong Road. Located very close to both Silom Soi 4 and Soi Twilight, this alley is easy to find.
By BTS Sky Train: The closest BTS station to Patpong 2 is Sala Daeng (BTS Code S2) on the Silom BTS Green Line. On exiting the station walk up Silom Road towards Silom Soi 4. Walk past Silom Soi 4 and take the next right. You will be on Patpong 2 Alley.
Taxi: Ask any taxi driver for Patpong. It’s pronounced the same way it’s read, PAT-PONG. Your best bet it to say PAT-PONG THA-NON SURA-WONG. If you are at the Patpong night market, you are one street over.
GrabTaxi: You will be able to find Patpong Market on the app. The next street is Patpong 2.
